Knowledge Gaps in Parkinson's Disease
Dear colleagues,
The Movement Disorder Society and the Italian Association for
Parkinson’s disease and Extrapyramidal Disorders (LIMPE) are pleased to
invite you to attend the “1st International Conference on Knowledge
Gaps in Parkinson's disease and Other Movement Disorders” to be held in
Taormina, Italy, on February 5-7, 2010. This 3-day symposium will
gather researchers from 26 movement disorders centers to discuss the
current areas of need in our field and propose pathways to address them.
In an effort to catalyze ideas into international collaborations,
we also encourage you to submit an entry for the “Research Ideas to
Bridge Knowledge Gaps” Award. Research Ideas should be
hypothesis-driven and be accompanied by suggested methods to carry it
out. The intrinsic importance of the idea in bridging current knowledge
gaps will outweigh feasibility and other logistics concerns in judging
the winning Research Idea submission.
Send your "Research Ideas to Bridge Knowledge Gaps" and/or any questions to gaps.in.mds@gmail.com.
