I am a consultant working in open data and neuroscience research.  Most recently I lead the development of PD Online Research, a web community of Parkinson’s disease researchers, industry professionals, grantmakers and financial investors.

I began my professional career as an IT consultant writing financial transaction systems on Wall Street before earning my PhD in neuroscience at New York University. I was on the Research Faculty at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and the Center for Neurobiology and Behavior at Columbia University, and currently hold an appointment at the Columbia University Medical Center.
