Genetic Epidemiology of Parkinson's Disease (GEO-PD) Consortium

The mission of GEO-PD is to perform collaborative, large-scale genetic association studies of PD.  New member sites are openly invited.  The minimal criteria are DNA and data available for 100 PD cases and 100 controls and willingness to share de-identified data for collaborative analyses.  Applications for new site membership require completion of a questionnaire (contact dmaraganore@mayo.edu).

We also have annual open meetings with the aims of providing state of the field presentations on the genetic epidemiology of PD and of providing updates of active collaborative studies and launching new collaborative studies.  Please see our current meeting website: www.geopdmeeting2009.org
